Google Analyics

Step 1 — Create a Google account or sign in

You need a Google Account to access Google Analytics. Use an existing account or create one at accounts.google.com.

Step 2 — Go to Google Analytics and create an account

Go to Google Analytics and create an account

Visit accounts.google.com and click Start measuring. You'll be asked to create an Analytics Account — this is the top-level container (usually your organisation name).

  • Set data sharing preferences (leave defaults or customise)
  • Account name is for your reference only

Step 3 — Property Details (Usually business name)

Add your property name and confirm time zones and currency

Step 4 — Business Details

Add your industry category and business size

Step 5 — Business Objectives

Be sure to include the objectives you wish to track. Google recommends a maximum of 2.

Step 6 — Start Collecting Data

  • Select 'Web'
  • Enter your Pembee website URL:  https://kidsclub.pembee.online/ (example)
  • Create a stream name 'Pembee site' for example
  • Create and continue

Step 7 — Get measurement ID

Once you have completed the above step, you will see your web stream details from here. Copy the 'Measurement ID' and paste it into your Pembee tracking page.

Step 8 — Linked Domains

Add your domain to the Pembee Google Analytics Tracking:

You will then need to do an additional step on your website config:

In your website code — find your existing gtag('config', 'G-XXXX', {...})     and add a linker    block pointing at your booking platform's domain. This is the critical bit — without it, GA treats a visitor leaving your site and landing on the booking page as a brand new session, breaking the user journey in your reports.

The exact domain to put in domains     will be whatever your booking platform uses (e.g. yourbusiness.pembee.app    ).

Step 9 — Enable Cookies (optional)

To keep your visitors informed and maintain compliance with data protection regulations, enable the Cookie Notice to transparently communicate how cookies are used on your site — especially if you're using tracking features.
